so much “Hell I’d Pay” How about those solos, let’s
hear it for Matt Cartier over there, Kevin
Kniebel right here on this claw
hammer Nate, I really loved that solo,
that was really good. J, I’m sorry you didn’t get a
solo [Laughter] J: – We’re going to do a song
that Nate wrote I don’t know what it’s exactly
about but it’s called
“Rattlesnake”. [Background Chatter] Nate: It was inspired by hiking
around the San Gabriel mountains outside of Los Angeles in
California where there is a lot of
rattlesnakes and occasionally you see them
and they scare the heck out of
you so this is sort of a way to
placate the beast that roamed around us, as it
were and so far it has worked still walking still hiking. Justin: Nate do you have a
rattle in your fiddle? Nate: No, I don’t. Justin:
That’s an old legend isn’t it? Justin: I don’t know, Curt has
one in his fiddle, I think they they used to keep the spiders
from building their webs inside the fiddle, or so they
would say but then it is also just cool
to have a rattle. Nate: Evil spirits don’t forget
about those. Justin: Mice and evil spirits. everything and nothing ♪ ♪ ♪ Closed Captions Provided by The
