Using the catalog to find eBooks and articles (new version)

Using OneSearch to find ebooks and
articles: an introduction to the Concordia University library’s catalog. First navigate to the CU Portland website. Under the Academics menu, click on “Library home.” In the menu on the left, click “Catalog.” First, sign in to ensure that you have access to all of the library’s resources. Now type in the name of an author, title,
or topic into the search bar. Press Enter or click the magnifying glass to search.
There are many different filter options on the side menu.
You can filter by format for print books, ebooks, etc., or you can filter for
peer-reviewed articles. Once you find an item, click on full-text online or the
title of the item to access it. If we have access to the full-text you will
see a link under access online. Open one of the database links. Select the
full-text PDF link or read the article online. There are many other things you
can do with OneSearch. If you have questions, ask a librarian. We’re here to help.
