Studio Quality Audio Recording with Our Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone

Hey there! My name is Amanda, and I’m a Technical Support Engineer here at Plugable. Microphones come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and types. With so many different varieties and functions, shopping for a high quality mic that has all the right specs at good price can be a little
daunting. Introducing our first ever mic, the Plugable
Cardioid Condenser USB Studio Microphone! To illustrate just how much we love our new
USB Studio Mic, we’re using it in real time for the audio you’re hearing now via this
mic in front of me. You can watch the audio being recorded on
this monitor here. We’re recording the audio in the popular
recording software Audacity, which is running on this Dell XPS 15 laptop. We also have a 5 meter long Plugable USB 3.0
Active Extension Cable between the microphone and the computer for added convenience. Our 10 meter version of the Plugable USB 3.0
Active Extension Cable also works well with the our new USB mic, and it makes arranging
a recording area much easier. The USB 2.0 versions of our Active Extension
Cables work with this microphone as well. The Plugable USB Studio Microphone has a 44kHz
sampling rate and a frequency response of 20Hz to 16kHz. It digitally captures vocal
and acoustic sources clearly and crisply. As a side-addressable cardioid condenser style
microphone, it reduces background noise for a high quality, hassle free audio recording
experience. The cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup
of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of the intended sound source. It comes with a pivoting tripod microphone
stand that’s easy to assemble. Just screw the tripod into the mounting piece. Then screw in the microphone into the mount,
separate the tripod legs, plug in the USB cable, and use the dial on the side of the
tripod to adjust the angle of the mic. Featuring studio-quality sound, this microphone
serves as the perfect recording solution for any at home podcaster or recording artist. And it offers a simple plug-and-play experience
using built-in USB audio class drivers, so no special drivers are required to start recording. Though you may need to change your audio settings,
so that the Plugable USB-VOX is your primary or default recording device. You can find instructions for that in the
FAQ section of the product page. Through the simplicity of USB technology,
this mic is compatible with almost any audio recording software, so you can use this microphone
with your favorite recording program! Our USB Studio Mic is also compatible with
Windows, OS X, and Linux. What’s your favorite recording software? We love to hear from you, so please feel free
to comment below. If you enjoyed this video, give it a thumbs
up, share it with your friends, and subscribe to our channel for more. Thanks for watching!
