Hi youtube! today i will review a very cheap but high performance for it’s price microphone it’s called Takstar SGC-698 It’s a stereo microphone that can go on cameras and tripods 3/8″ screw thread size to mount on tripod and clip on shock mount to mount on camera It’s powered on a small 3 volt battery This microphone have got some recording options as you can see here The options are… -10dB 0dB +20dB on and on with low cut filter It comes with a wind cover However it’s hard to add the wind cover to the microphone Now i will put this microphone on my camera I will plug the jack to my camera I will turn the microphone on And i will go outside to record the outside sounds I will show you my microphone settings here I will increase the dB in 3 I will increase the dB in 2 I will increase the dB in 1 Changing the dB to +20 makes a sudden bustle so you may want to decrease your speaker sound for a while I will increase the dB in 3

I have no microphone boost from here, all the microphone boost will be from the microphone settings and only Alright let’s get started This is a test for the microphone And now i will record my voice with low-cut filter This is a test for the microphone we can see that, the 1st one is rough while the 2nd one is smooth, almost flat However if you listen to them you will notice that both of them have got almost the same noise It’s very difficult to hear the difference in the noise This is a test for the microphone This is a test for the microphone However the low-cut filter is not supposed to remove the noise but to remove the possible unwanted sounds while recording This is a test for the microphone This is a test for the microphone This is a test for the microphone This is a test for the microphone This is a test for the microphone “Now i hear more noice than voice” This is a test for the microphone This is a test for the microphone This is a test for the microphone Thank you for watching!
