Rough Start? STAY in the FIGHT! 🥊// Dan’s Daily Dose #291

– Hey, what’s up, guys? Today is a huge day in Washington D.C. because the Nationals are
going to the World Series. They clenched in a four game
sweep over the Cardinals. Sorry St. Louis fans, but I
think there’s a huge message in what they have accomplished
for today’s daily dose. All right, so they got
to the World Series, we’ll see how they do once they get there, but the first time D.C.’s
had a baseball team in the World Series in
I think like 83 years. So huge accomplishment, but
what makes it even more cool is they started off the season bad. They were 18 and 31, so
12 for 13 games under 500. Low expectations. A lot of people thought that
they should kinda trade off the people that were on short
term deals and you know, throw in the season and put
themselves in a better position for the following year or years after. Like, trade away some of the
hot guys on short contracts to get some better
prospects for the future. And you know, a lot of teams do that in sports, but these guys didn’t. I thought they should’ve
as well, so I was wrong. And they showed us the
power of fighting back because since then, since
starting that terrible start, they’ve had one the best
records in baseball. Now they’re in the World Series, waiting on to see who they can play. And look, a lot of us in our
business, our personal lives, whether it be like selling
homes, or just anything, relationships, fitness, you know, we might go through rocky times, we might not be meeting expectations, we might start off a tad slower than we think when we’re
trying something new. All right, but there’s power
in staying in the fight. That was the Nationals’ motto
through the end of the season and the playoffs, is stay in the fight. All right, that’s what they did. They didn’t give up, they
kept showing up, working hard, and then you know, things
started happening for ’em. So, if you’re struggling, if you’re not getting the start you
want, stay in the fight. All right guys, hope you
enjoyed that content. If you did, please hit that like button, share this, hit the subscribe button, leave me some comments, some feedback, and I’ll see you next time.
