Review Of the Samson Q2U Microphone

Review Of the Samson Q2U Microphone

Hi, this is Ken from Home Brew Audio. Last week I did an unboxing video of the Samson
Q2U USB and XLR Microphone. And in that video, I promised a review which
I have now done. The
review is at homebrewaudio.com, and in that review I compared the Q2U to its predecessor,
the Q1U. And I also compared it to the Shure SM58 Dynamic
Microphone, which is probably the most popular standard dynamic microphone in the
world. In this review, I do lots of sound samples. And the bottom line is, this mic here for
$10 more than its predecessor, the Q1U, is a far better
microphone in all sorts of ways. The main way is that it has
a lot less hiss, a lot less noise in the background than the Q1U. You can hear all of that, including
sound samples of just the noise and all kinds of other sound samples, at the review at
homebrewaudio.com. Bottom line, this is a great mic. Come and check out the review.
