How to Curate a Podcast? [Mental Health] (Part 2)

You know, I’ve been able to be
friends with. So thank you guys for even listening to this like quote on quote
rant or since this is unscripted. I appreciate those who take the time just
to even bother to listen. Whether it’s one minute, 30 seconds, or this whole
entire video, whole entire podcast. So thank you guys. I would love to get back
into podcasting as far as putting out more content. I’ve definitely haven’t put
in that much even solo content either. When I started podcasting, I started with
the interviews, I started with interviewing whether it’s YouTubers,
whether it’s streamers, models, photographers, the “whole nine” (means everything). I definitely enjoyed that. It took a backseat because of the death of my
father. So because I wanted to revamp everything and and what happened in June, it was definitely something you can’t really prepare for. And that’s why
I’ve took in the backseat to podcasting. I know a lot of people like “yo what
happened?” And I’ll definitely explain that in probably another podcast on my thoughts
on that. And how I was able to still continue to stream or could still
continue to put out content. Or even still continue to talk to people. I’m you
know recently trying to be a lot more social. Be less introverted, even going
to therapy about the whole situation. I know a lot of people don’t
understand what happened. And I know a lot of people understood like,
your father passed away but people don’t understand what happened and how I
experienced it. And what happened on that day in June. So I’ll definitely explain
that and be a lot more transparent. I think for the end of 2019 of course and
moving on forward to in the beginning of 2020. I just want to be a lot more
transparent. I want to be a lot more honest about how I feel and just be
authentic. I just want to be authentic and real about Who I am. About who Andrew Taylor is, who AlistJpeg is, or who A-list is and just be more transparent like that and you know telling about certain
things about how I felt come how I felt comfortable and certain things that I
feel uncomfortable with. I wish people when they said they’re you know… There’s
a lot of people that want to start a podcast but they never follow through
with it. And I want to be the person that follows through with it. I understand people do take breaks when it comes to putting out content and it’s
completely fine. You know handle your real life stuff. But when people say
like everybody wants to start a podcast but people don’t want to put the work in.
I feel like that’s truly relevant. Yo I’m a start this and then you don’t
hear from them a few months later. I don’t want to be that person I don’t
want to be that. For me putting up podcasts it’s just a fun thing to do. I
don’t get paid for it. I don’t get part[nerships] sponsorships from for it.
I could definitely reach out to certain people like yo can you sponsor me or you
know can you advertise on my content? And you know maybe from a cut or
you know whether it’s money. Or whether it’s you know getting a certain product.
I could definitely do that but the thing about not having the advertisements I
can be a lot more real. I can be a lot more honest transparent on what I want
to say and I want to do it or delegate it. Or whether I want to curate it and
stuff like that. Thank you guys to even you know bothering to even
listen to this. I don’t know, what’s something that most people don’t really know about
me? When it comes to whether streaming, content creating, or being influencer or
whether it’s photography. For me I I’m just trying to think about what you
know something that most people really don’t know about me. For me I like to
curate a lot of stuff. So if you don’t know what to curate, it’s kind of like,
collect or kind of organize in a certain way. So when I do my certain Twitch
banners, or a write or stuff on whether it’s social media or whether I post
a video on YouTube. I curate that, organize it, in a certain fashion. Whether
it’s down to the thumbnail, down the title, down to the the captions that I
write myself. I I have to have it a certain way. I don’t know if that’s how I
am. I don’t know if it’s OCD, but I like things a certain way. And if it doesn’t
go that way either [plan] A you know I kind of bite my tongue or [plan] B I just kind of do it myself. I love I love curating a lot of
different things and organizing things in the certain fashion. Like for example,
on Twitter I create a lot of like Twitter Lists, so I can organize whether
you know it’s Fortnite, Fortnite News. Organize the content creators that you
have to pay attention, but they’re very popular…
