Gravity MS CLMP 25 – Microphone Clamp, 25mm

Hi and welcome to the Adam Hall Group Studios. Here I want to show you
a very simple product from Gravity, namely this sweet little microphone clamp. It’s a fairly regular microphone clamp,
but it’s made out of a very robust yet flexible material and it has a soft-touch finish. It’s not coated with a soft-touch material,
but it’s a matte soft-touch surface and it has a couple of shiny highlights
just to make it look a bit nicer. But apart from looks, it also has
the necessary performance, that means that it has a lot of friction in this axis and should it, after a couple
of years maybe, become loose, you have a screw here which you can just
tighten with a screwdriver. Some cheaper clamps don’t have that option. When they become loose you can throw them away. It comes with a little adapter here so it’s
compatible with 3/8 and 5/8 inch threads and it also has this green ring here which is detachable
as it is the case with all Gravity products so you can add a different colour ring
if you want to to mark different microphones. So let me put it on to the stand here. We spent quite a lot of time designing
the actual inside shape of this clamp to ensure that it really grips every type of
microphone and holds it firmly in its place without it slipping out or back or whatever. So if I take a regular type of vocal microphone
you can just slip it in from the front and it just pries open and
if you take a closer look, you’ll see that it clamps to the back and to the front. There’s no gaps anywhere, it’s just
securely holding the mic all the way. It also leaves enough gap at the top for
switches or displays so it’s not in the way and it can take virtually any microphone
and we have different sizes for generally different sized microphones,
so for example a wireless microphone which has a much bigger shaft
would need the larger version of this one here. That’s it from Gravity Stands. Check us out on gravitystands.com
and I hope to see you again soon. Bye bye!
