Garmin Vivoactive 4 / Venu- How To Download Spotify Playlists

in this video we’ll show you how you can
connect your garmin vivoactive 4 or Garmin Venu to a third party music
provider such as Spotify but in order to do this you need to have your Vivoactive
4 or Venu connected to a Wi-Fi network which we’ve covered in another video and
once you have that done then you can use the Garmin Connect app and authenticate
or login to your Spotify account on the phone and then one side is done you’ll
be able to synchronize a play this from there so let’s flip over to our phone
and get into Garmin connect and authenticate to our Spotify account and
here we are in garmin connect tap on the vivoactive icon next to our profile
picture and we’ll tap on music and here we have spotify and deezer now if you
don’t see these two apps listed here you can also tap on the link down the bottom
of the screen this will bring you to the Garmin Connect IQ store this will allow
you to download these apps so this might take an extra minute or two for you to
download and sync to the device and once you’re done you should have these things
listed you can click on the three dots and on install the app if you wanted to
but now that we have the app installed let’s flip over to the watch and now
that we have the watch here now we should be able to press and hold the
back button and we’ll scroll down to the gear icon and we’re gonna scroll down
this list here until we see music and we’ll tap on that and now we’re gonna
tap on music provider and we should now see Spotify listed now we’re gonna tap
on that and now we’ll get a message here that we need to flip back to our phone
and sign in and now we’re going to flip back when I tap on the sign-in prompt
and this will bring us to a login page and we’re just going to login using
Facebook and we’re gonna click or a tap and there we go now let’s go back to our
watch now we can see that we are ready to go we can tap on get started and now
we can see that we have our library and you can add music and podcasts and view
subsetting let’s tap on music and podcasts let’s
take a look at our playlists and from here we can scroll through all the
playlists that you have in your Spotify account so let’s see we have got a
couple here but I am going to choose the wrapped 2009 ear review my top tracks
hundred tracks at this point now the Wi-Fi is gonna connect with the device
and it’s gonna start to download now with a hundred songs this might take a
little while so we’re just going to let this sit for about 15 minutes or so and
we are back it switched back to our watch face so we’re gonna press and hold
the back button and get back to our settings and we’re gonna scroll back
down to our music and now we’ll go down to music providers Spotify and you can
see that I downloaded 71 songs and now we can have an option to update the
downloads can view settings and we can log out of course alright so at this
point here we can edit the downloads or we’re ready to go we can go back to our
music tap on headphones and if we’ve added a Bluetooth headphones no well
then we can connect and listen without the phone and there you go
