Michael: Two thousand square feet. Becca: Yeah, it was something like that, but it was like Becca: On a hill and it was Michael: A big yard Becca: A huge yard full of spiky plants. Michael: It had apple trees. It was really nice. Michael: But it was a ghetto house like… Becca: A ghetto house. Old. Had dog hair all over it.A cat was living in it! We found that out two weeks after we moved in. Becca: Terrified us after we started finding poop everywhere. We were like, what is going on? And it was a feral cat. It was scary! Becca: We had to called the owner of the house to come get it out. Becca: Well, anyways, Becca: that’s jumping ahead. Michael: Did I have a… Michael: Did I have…was I accepted to the job before we got that house? Becca: So I think it happened on the same day Michael: I remember it happening really fast Becca: It was like, we were I think… Michael: I think we’re like… Becca: I think when we’re a week Becca: after. And we had talked to this owner and we were like Becca: Please we really need to get in here. This is our situation. Becca: We have an emergency fund like, we are ready to pay and they’re like, okay, but you’re gonna have to Becca: Cosign with someone because we can’t trust that you’re gonna do this. Michael: Cause you’re unemployed. Becca: You have no rental history or anything Michael: And you’re unemployed Becca: So we were like, okay, whatever we have to do. So we got my parents to co-sign. Becca: And Michael got his job and we got a house and two days Becca: I’m like Becca: So proud of this. Two days before that two weeks was up, we were out. Everything! Becca: Gone and Michael: With two days to spare Becca: With two days to spare and we just…you know, I think that it could have gone better Becca: I think that…I guess looking back if I was the owner I would have been nicer Becca: I would have probably given a little bit more time Becca: It was hard on us. That was really really difficult on us and Becca: And it was so hostile all of a sudden that we had no… Becca: Even if we would have said hey, you know, this isn’t quite working for us Becca: Is there any way that we can get two more weeks? Or anything like… Becca: They would have been like get the cops. You know, like it was so scary. So. Becca: the crazy part is, Becca: we moved into this great ward, our church. Like with our church and like we had Becca: a house that we were paying for by ourselves Becca: We had a great job. Becca: And all of a sudden we were…it had made, it forced us to get into a much better situation ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫
