  1. I graduated high school in 1969 and had three Dylan albums playing in my room all through high school, Blonde on Blonde, Bringing It All Back Home, and Highway 61 Revisited. These vinyl records filled my teenage years and I was in love with Bobby Dylan.

  2. I met this guy once and talked to him alone. He was just this normal little guy. Made some great music and great live performances. But if you meet him, he isn't the one you see on stage or hear in these records. He has something that we can't understand where it came from. He has secrets to conceal LOL.

  3. Every time I hear this song I get a smile on my face thinking about that gal that made my life a living hell for 12 years. Cheers!

  4. The summer of 2015 my self hatred was at its fullest, but I just pushed it all aside and drank fucked and did drugs. Maybe not a healthy way to go about ones issues but Ive got alot of funny stories from that summer atleast. Anyways I listened to this every single day for that summer and I just related the crap out of it.

  5. de la classe pas autre chose a dire ce type tiens la route sur le plan composition et musicalement depuis des lustres

  6. On my own in NH, I can remember driving Route 3N, Lowell to NH and listening to the cranked radio. Then 11East to my job. It was me alone and it felt great. 22 was a good age, no ties. You only cross that river once.

  7. This guy sounds like a singing snake, with a case of nasal congestion. What is the point to this kind of noise?

  8. Bob Dylan wrote it through the twist and turns of life. He knew what layed in.the shadows and despair of life and wrote it the brite and the dark. Even though most refuse to grasp it. Well he sang it for all of us !!!!!!

  9. Bob needs to cut back on pop and drink or eat South American acai berries. They are much better than blueberries plus heal everything. Thr Dr said bottled water and less booze…You can get it in juice drinks like with pomegrant juice too to detox…Activted charcoal pills from Orchard Nutrition or other health places. They have Dr's there to help. Protein is key.Get well soon and Happy holidays!!! Robby is great too I lnow..Best wishes….

  10. The Drs stress acai berries and they taste great. They are great like you and your music……Keep on and don't give up…Everyone needs you and your child too!!!!

  11. One Of The Greatest Songs..A Fan for 50+ years loving his music always..A True Legend in words & music..🇬🇧👍

  12. I saw an interview of him years ago. The reporter asked him why didn't write songs like this any more. He replied – "Can you write songs like that?" "no" " I can't either"…..

  13. PAOK GATE 4 ATHENS ANTIFA MIKROS!!!! Fantastic man believe that you are Bob…!Also believe that Monica and Angelina there are the most beautiful women in the world! But believe that the most beautiful woman ever that born in this planet is Lisa Stansfield!!!

  14. So what you are saying is I need to be subscribing to Jerry Garcia's theory of playing for my motherfucking life (as well as your children in the burning church and Lord knows how many robbed souls in China)? You know you are tripping when that happens. I'll play I suppose but only because I want to kick your ass (like so many other selfish conceited over-glorified pompous egomaniacs who think they are God) at this point and because others need help Mr. Superstar-too cool-for-school. Beating Bob Dylan and Robert Hunter at songwriting after losing most of my youth and half my frontal lobe to alcoholism while not knowing more than an 8th grader musically nor actually playing an instrument shouldn't be difficult right? Just like one arm tied behind my back while the other never formed because of congenital birth defects… And the world's greatest painting was not painted by hand but with toes and teeth and chimpanzees.

But you must be exist for some reason right Bob? For never a door you are but a hurdle. But to be a proper prison one must have walls God tells me, and doors that always remain guarded and locked.

  16. You know I've recently (as in in the last 6 hours) gotten very into bob dylan and I was expecting this to be his best song but idk compared to the rest of his body of work it's kind of meh… I guess I'm more of a blood on the tracks guy

  17. Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you?
People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall"
You thought they were all kiddin' you
    You used to laugh about
    Everybody that was hangin' out
Now you don't talk so loud
Now you don't seem so proud
About having to be scrounging for your next meal

    How does it feel?
    How does it feel
    To be without a home
    Like a complete unknown
    Like a rolling stone?

You've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely
But you know you only used to get juiced in it
And nobody's ever taught you how to live out on the street
And now you're gonna have to get used to it
    You said you'd never compromise
With the mystery tramp, but now you realize
    He's not selling any alibis
As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
And say do you want to make a deal?

    How does it feel?
    How does it feel
    To be on your own
    With no direction home
    A complete unknown
    Like a rolling stone?

You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns
When they all did tricks for you
You never understood that it ain't no good
You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you
You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat
Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat
Ain't it hard when you discover that
He really wasn't where it's at
After he took from you everything he could steal

    How does it feel?
    How does it feel
    To be on your own
    With no direction home
    Like a complete unknown
    Like a rolling stone?

Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people
They're all drinkin', thinkin' that they got it made
    Exchanging all precious gifts
But you'd better take your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe
You used to be so amused
At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used
Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse
When you ain't got nothing, you got nothing to lose
You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal

    How does it feel
    How does it feel
    To be on your own
    With no direction home
    Like a complete unknown
    Like a rolling stone?

  18. I really like this song! I still remember when I first heard it on a car radio! I have learned over the years that Bob Dylan wrote a lot of songs that were doing by other singers.Nice work Bob Dylan !!

  19. הוא יהודי כמוני מותר לי לכתוב לו בעברית

  20. I cannot stop laughing at Boob Dylan's voice, as it is the voice of a city (hill) Billy, who thought he was a 'smart guy' for ruining songs with that voice. He was so successful with He Haw, coal miners, and the cannibals from the back hills of WV, that he got a musical contract, something BD had erased from the archives of his snake brain memory banks. Now, he will soon be crying..

  24. Proverbs 26:37 Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.

I’m not sure why it’s unusual to be honest but Bob Dylan is a Satanist as his name alone would suggest and this song is about spiritual death and the inevitable end of evil, cruelty and spiritual wickedness. It’s kind of wearying when most comments here never isolate the heart or meaning of things. I get that your hiding things for your god but I just thought there would be more individuals in this world. Don’t you realise ironically Christianity is the new counter culture?
