  1. This is my life ,like it was a part written for me to fufill .
As a pre teen i skipped school to listen to my dads records, this song seemed to toll a bell for me , i love dylan ,always will

  2. Do you really understand the orphan with the gun? How about that Janie's got a gun Bob down by the railroad tracks? Does it- the song and video which grossed millions of dollars within itself- seem like it connects here in some way to our current situation- like it is RELATED- instead of just existing in outer space totally randomly? My dad always was a huge fan of musicals, growing up we had yearly showings of Annie and Oliver especially. So where is Daddy Warbucks now? Where is the family who saves Oliver from Bill Sikes and Fagin's gang of thieves? Doesn't seem to be nothing but thieves and people who don't care to me! But maybe they just made up additional characters for the movies so that they would have happy endings instead of really horrific ones that wouldn't sell and make them lots of money at the time. Just all in their heads.

  3. This song popped into my head while watching navy ships fly battle flags to the middle east (2002-2003)). A very eerie moment I don't ever want to experience again but somehow know I will.  Hopefully in a different context. Bob Dylan, an American Prophet!

  4. EVERYONE THE WORLD AROUND WHO LISTENS IR PLAYS MUSIC MUST LIKE AND LOVE MUST LOVE ZT LEAST ONE BOB DYLAN SONG. I KNOW I DO. THEY ARE IMMORTAL AS THIS SONG SHOWS. TIMELESS.

  5. No me canso de escuchar tus canciones, sigue componiendo y dando conciertos, disfrutando y haciendonos disfrutar con tus poesias tus mensajes, y tu musica

  6. Left my boyfriend after a 5 and a half year relationship a couple kf months ago. I just recently saw him with another guy at Gay Pride. I mistreated him quite badly and would give so much just to be in the same room with him. Man, this song really hits home.

Bob loved the way Jerry played it

  8. Certainly one of his best songs 🙂 He's such a talented man, his artwork isn't too bad either 🙂

  9. This song always leaves my emotions tangled up in blue. Saying Dylan is a genius seems an understatement.

  10. Good morning, good afternoon and good evening, Bob Dylan! You will be forever in our hearts… We grow together You singing and we listening you… We are a blessed generation… I love, love, love this music…

  11. i see a star many miles away
i see a mountain close to the bay
i hear a violin that is playing for me
it belongs in a symphony a symphony
let me tell you now and tell you once again
the sun has no sunspots now beware beware
a state of emergency will be declared
    the candle it's burning fast
i don't think we can put out
except for a prayer a prayer
i guess we have a lot to spare
i say goodnight now and put down my pen
tomorrow is another day my friend

  12. I feel it is a secret or a mystery the way the guitar follows the lyric. The mark of a genius is to combine things without knowing how it is done. Surely it has a lot to do with feeling and following instinct, practice and more practice leads to being satisfied with the final outcome. Don't forget to get your rest Mr Artist.

"It's All Over Now, Baby Blue"
    (originally by Bob Dylan)

You must leave now, take what you need, you think will last
But whatever you wish to keep, you better grab it fast
Yonder stands your orphan with his gun
Crying like a fire in the sun
Look out the saints are comin' through
And it's all over now, Baby Blue

The highway is for gamblers, better use your sense
Take what you have gathered from coincidence
The empty-handed painter from your streets
Is drawing crazy patterns on your sheets
The sky, too, is folding under you
And it's all over now, Baby Blue

All your seasick sailors, they are rowing home
All your reindeer armies, they're all going home
The lover who just walked out your door
Has taken all his blankets from the floor
The carpet, too, is moving under you
And it's all over now, Baby Blue

Leave your stepping stones behind, something calls for you
Forget the dead you've left, they will not follow you
The vagabond who's rapping at your door
Is standing in the clothes that you once wore
Strike another match, go start anew
And it's all over now, Baby Blue
And it's all over now, Baby Blue
And it's all over now, Baby Blue
And it's all over now, Baby Blue

  16. Linda! "E não tem mais nada, negro amor!" 😀

Does exist a beautiful an old brazilian song, a version of this, called: Negro Amor; wich means: Black Love. If you guys want, take a look there!

  17. Dylan's music envelops you into a different world, through the words, as well as the harmonic tunes. What an artist.

  18. After becoming a folk superstar with his previous three albums, Dylan releases "Bringing It All Back Home" as the first of a trilogy of albums unmatched in US rock history. After which he has continued to release very good stuff, some even genius ("Blood On The Tracks" for one) for the next 50+ years.

  19. I heard Van Morrison’s take on this today and it made me fetch the original. Now I feel like weeping for the entire world.

  20. know nobody is ever prepared when a legend passes, but I am truly not prepared for when Bob passes. He's just so special and utterly angelic. His music, like this song, feels like he's singing to me and i don't get that feeling from anyone else.

  21. The bridge part of this song (Yonder stands…Crying like a fire….) is one of my favorite moments in music history.Anyone else crazy about that part?

  22. I prefer Them version but this song has a strong impact in my life, in these last 5 years I've been with two girls, they both betrayed me and used me like a toy. Now listening this song makes me cry everytime.

  23. It's an allegory. Baby Blue = USA. Composed as Vietnam War was getting underway in earnest, and already many knew it would be a fiasco and the anti-war protests had started.

  24. a Big Bang for me during my teens. I cannot explain how powerful Dylan was to me. As a teacher meant more than even my own father

  25. i immediately loved the sound of his voice when i first heard him in my early teens, and still loving him today at 55..thankyou for putting your music on youtube Sir Bob..many thanks
